Expanding horizons, we are in the United States!

After a process that took us more than a year, the Foundation is legal in the United States, with what objective?to promote the importance of biodiversity preservation in Ecuador and to obtain funding for our programs.

We registered as REFOREST ECUADOR,now, those who make donations in the United States in favor of the conservation actions that we promote, will be able to obtain a tax benefit.

Visit to the USA, with Ron Magill

To comply with the requirements of this process, our executive director, Guido Rada, visited the United States in mid-August.

There, he had the opportunity to meet with Ron Magill.

Ron is an internationally renowned zoological authority, a tireless communicator on wildlife and nature issues who has been seen on a wide variety of programs both in the U.S. and abroad, and has been working with wild animals for over 30 years!

We were deeply impressed by your photographs, but most of all by your simplicity and your commitment to nature conservation.

Ron will be visiting Ecuador next December, and of course, we have cordially invited him to visit the Foundation's Tayra Reserve in Mashpi.

Visiting a national park like the Everglades is, without a doubt, a tremendous experience, learning from those who conserve large areas and do it well.

Visitar un parque nacional como Everglades es, sin duda, una tremenda experiencia, aprendiendo de quienes conservan extensas áreas, y lo hacen bien.

These lessons learned will serve as input for the development of Reserva Natural Tayra, the Foundation's first reserve in Mashpi.
