A Dream that Takes Flight
The Foundation, in collaboration with the Tambo Condor Ecotourism Complex, has launched an exciting crowdfunding campaign called “Guardians of the Andes”.
This effort seeks to raise funds for the creation of an Environmental Education Center and a Self-Guided Ecological Trail dedicated to the Andean condor and the spectacled bear, two emblematic species that face serious threats in their natural habitat.
The campaign is active on the Givebutter platform, where those interested can contribute to this noble project.
Tambo Condor is a family enterprise located 14km from Pintag, on the way to the Antisana volcano that stands out for its focus on sustainable ecotourism, where the Foundation, working together with them, and with the contribution of many entities and volunteers, we have planted 6,713 native trees and shrubs under a habitat restoration approach and to create an ecological corridor between Laguna De Secas and Cerro Yeguapamba.
Here, visitors can enjoy the natural beauty while learning about the importance of conserving local species and their ecosystems.
The “Guardians of the Andes” campaign aims not only to raise funds, but also to raise awareness about the conservation of the Andean condor and the spectacled bear.
Everyone is invited to visit the Givebutter page for more information about the project and how they can help.
This dream could not become a reality without the commitment of all the people who have done their bit to make this dream come true.
Special thanks to Angie Drake, who has been the promoter of the crowdfunding, as well as to Veronica and Vladimir, promoters of the Tambo Condor Ecotourism Project and the mentors of this initiative.
Together, we are taking significant steps towards a future where these species can thrive.
The Foundation and Tambo Condor are determined to make a difference. Every donation counts and every action adds up in the fight to preserve our biodiversity.
¡Conviértete en un guardián de los Andes!
