In a new journey, together with Belcorp, we planted 100 native trees, including yalomán, aliso, podocarpus, guarango, laurel de cera and capulí.
This initiative not only contributes to climate change mitigation, but also promotes environmental awareness and corporate responsibility.
With this planting, we have now planted 10,320 species of native flora in the park as part of our “Plant a Tree in your City” project.
We are grateful for Belcorp's participation; this is the second planting we have carried out together, which demonstrates their permanent commitment to the environment.
One of the biggest challenges we face, and that involves all of us, is the climate crisis, reforestation is an effective tool to address it.
By planting 100 native trees, we are actively contributing to the fight against climate change. Trees absorb carbon dioxide (CO2) from the atmosphere and contribute to restoring ecosystems, preserving biodiversity.
Beyond its commercial activities, Belcorp recognizes its responsibility to the community and the planet.
Through programs such as this one, the company not only seeks to offset its ecological footprint, but also to inspire other private sector actors to follow its example.
We would also like to highlight the effort and dedication of Belcorp's personnel on this day, who enthusiastically showed their commitment to a healthier and more balanced world for present and future generations.
