This weekend, a group of 75 volunteers gathered in Tambo Condor together with Runawana to carry out a significant planting day.
In a spirit of collaboration and commitment, 150 native trees were planted that will contribute to the restoration of the ecosystem of this vital area.
The day not only attracted young people, but also entire families, children who collaborated, with much enthusiasm, joined this cause.
Each of the attendees contributed their effort and dedication to reach the goal, creating an atmosphere of joy and solidarity.
The planting was more than a simple act; it was a celebration of the community working together for the well-being of the planet.
The importance of planting these 150 trees in Tambo Condor lies in the creation of an ecological corridor between Laguna de Seca and Cerro Yeguapamba.
This corridor will not only help restore the local ecosystem, but will also play a crucial role in biodiversity conservation and mitigating the effects of climate change.
The collaboration with Runawana has been fundamental in making this great journey possible, reaffirming the joint commitment to environmental protection.
Their initiative is based on raising funds through the sale of their handmade Ecuadorian wool cases, undoubtedly an example to follow.
We sincerely thank all the volunteers who dedicated their time and effort to this noble cause, as well as Runawana for their unconditional support in these initiatives and also the Tambo Condor Ecotourism Project, who seek to promote sustainable and responsible tourism in the region.
Together, we are taking firm steps towards a more sustainable future committed to our nature.
TOGETHER WE ARE PART OF THE SOLUTION
