Together with 45 volunteers from Metropolitang Touring and their families, we enjoyed an unforgettable June 29th, we planted 100 native trees and 200 maywas (Quito orchid) in the Metropolitan Park of Guangüiltagua.
Metropolitang's commitment to the recovery of the Quebrada Ashintaco continues, this time, plants were replaced and new trees were planted; guarangos, capulí, alders, among others and our beautiful orchid "la Maywa".
Trees beautify, provide shade and favor recreation, help rainwater drainage, reduce erosion and form curtains against noise, allow us to breathe cleaner air and improve the quality of life and native trees, recreate the conditions of the original landscape, allowing the repopulation of other plant species and the return of animals typical of our ecosystems, small mammals, birds, insects and lizards will return little by little to the creek!
We are recovering our ecosystems!
Thanks Metropolitang Touring
