Passionate about nature, he is an amateur entomologist and bird and plant observer. His research in glaciology is linked to climate change, focusing on subglacial processes. Born in the Dominican Republic, he obtained his Ph.D. in the UK and after research in Belgium, he immersed himself in the world of NGOs.
