Twelve Hands, One Purpose<\/span><\/font><\/div>

The morning arrived crisp at the Antisana Condor Observatory, on the road to Antisana Volcano. Twelve volunteers gathered with a shared motivation: to restore life to the p\u00e1ramo.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>

Laguna de Secas, a silent witness of centuries, watched as these hands prepared to plant 250 native trees and shrubs.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>

Divided into two groups, the work began with contagious energy, spontaneous laughter, and jokes that lightened the effort of each hole dug in the moist earth.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

Polylepis, morti\u00f1os, alders, and other p\u00e1ramo species found their new home during this journey. Each plant represents more than an act of restoration: it is a promise of balance, a commitment to future generations.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>

The volunteers worked with precision and care, aware that each root planted strengthens the ecosystem that sustains life at these heights.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

Near the end of the day, the sky gifted an unforgettable moment. The condors, ancestral guardians of Antisana, soared over the area in majestic flight.<\/span><\/font><\/p>

It was as if nature itself acknowledged the collective effort, blessing the work accomplished with its presence. <\/span><\/font><\/p>

The day closed with a visit to Antisana National Park and a comforting lunch at Tambo C\u00f3ndor, where the day's stories were shared amid smiles of satisfaction.<\/span><\/font><\/p>
