At the Foundation, we firmly believe in the power of collaboration to transform our environment.
That's why, when the consulting firm Actuaria, a company deeply committed to sustainability in Quito, joined us for a reforestation day, we knew something magical was about to happen.
Let's Get to Work for a Greener Future
The Guangüiltagua Metropolitan Park, a vital green lung for our beloved city, was the setting for this beautiful adventure.
On the morning of the event, the air vibrated with a special energy. Forty-eight Actuaria employees arrived with smiles and open hearts, ready to get their hands dirty and leave a green footprint on our city.
They organized themselves into twelve teams of four, a dynamic that fostered camaraderie and teamwork from the very beginning.

Then, with a practical demonstration, we showed how to plant correctly, ensuring that each small sprout had the best chance of growing strong and healthy.
With fresh knowledge and tools in hand, the teams dispersed throughout the park, carrying with them not only trees, but also the promise of a greener future.
A Legacy of Life and Hope
At the end of the day, the satisfaction was palpable. Together, we managed to plant 275 native trees and shrubs, enriching the Andean ecosystem with species such as alder, myrtle, podocarpus, cholán, and other varieties native to our land.
