One more tree makes a difference

We met again in the Guangüiltagua Metropolitan Park.

This time with a group of 25 volunteers from the Next Generation Network, a group that is part of MSD and aims to integrate the different generations within the company, this time in an activity to take care of the planet.

Planting makes a difference, we are focusing on 'helping' nature to restore the existing forests in an area that has been deforested, these first trees will be nesting places for birds that will then fly from tree to tree depositing seeds that will give rise to new trees, the shade they will provide will also allow the development of new shrubs and plants

We planted 150 native trees, including species such as capuli, guaba, laurel de cera, arrayán and others.

Trees are essential for absorbing carbon dioxide, improving air quality and restoring natural habitats.

At a time when the planet is facing unprecedented environmental challenges, actions like this are needed more than ever.

We were pleasantly surprised by the good energy and joy of the group, they were focused on planting well, dedicated to each tree, we always say that it is not about planting 'many' trees, we want it to be done well and that each tree has the best conditions to develop.

We thank MSD for their socially and environmentally responsible approach and the authorities of the Guangüiltagua Metropolitan Park for allowing us to plant in the park.

Together we are building a more sustainable and healthier future for all.
