There were 170 volunteers of all ages who gathered in Tambo Condor, united by a common purpose: to bring life to spaces that were degraded by agriculture and cattle ranching.
Ecuasanitas wanted to make a difference and called for this extraordinary challenge: it is not easy to plant 1,000 trees, bushes and native plants in one morning!
The hands of children, youth and adults intertwined to plant species such as achupallas, alders, pusupatos, pumamaquis, myrtles, piquiles, chilcas de páramo, romerillo, jactas and polylepis incana and pauta among others.
Each plant represented a message of hope, a commitment to the earth.
The energy of the group was contagious, a mix of enthusiasm and determination that made the work seem like a celebration.

In a magical moment that seemed like something out of a fairy tale, two condors soared through the sky, flying very close to where the volunteers were planting life.
Their presence was a sublime reminder of the biodiversity that inhabits these páramos, an ecosystem as fragile as it is extraordinary.
After completing the planting in record time, the volunteers took a tour of the Antisana volcano.
Every step was a learning experience, every glance a discovery about the importance of preserving these unique spaces.
It is amazing to see how new generations passionately embrace the responsibility of caring for our páramos.
Each volunteer, regardless of age, left a green footprint that day, a testimony that the future of the planet rests in committed hands.
To all the volunteers, a heartfelt thank you.
Because one tree, one plant, one moment of collective work, makes all the difference.
TOGETHER WE ARE PART OF THE SOLUTION
