One of the aspects that characterizes the actions of the Foundation is to build synergies, on this occasion we had the sponsorship of the company Economica CIC and BUPA Insurance, also with the collaboration of the group Youth in Political Action, the community came together to sow hope in a ravine that suffered the ravages of the fires that hit Quito.
The goal was ambitious: planting 415 trees, shrubs and native plants, including species such as cholán, capulí, yalomán, Llin-Llín, sacha capulí, aliso and chilca, was an inspiring day of reforestation.
About 30 volunteers, students from universities such as Catholic, Central and San Francisco, gathered in the creek.
Committed young people, some even traveled from Cayambe, demonstrating that the new generations are increasingly aware and concerned about the welfare of the planet.
Their enthusiasm and energy infected everyone present, transforming the hard work into a real party.
It is incredible to see how every day the new generations get involved in concrete actions to mitigate the effects of climate change.

The day began with the volunteers moving trees and tools to the planting area.
They quickly organized themselves into two groups: one group was in charge of digging the holes and the other of planting the trees. The work was demanding, but the satisfaction of contributing was even greater.
At the end of the day, each volunteer left with the joy of having contributed their grain of sand to the recovery of this important natural space.
A sincere thank you to each and every one of the volunteers for their valuable participation, we also thank BUPA and Economica CIC for contributing financially and also with volunteers.
TOGETHER WE ARE PART OF THE SOLUTION
