Mondelez International's commitment to the community shone with special intensity on Friday 29th, in an event full of meaning at the "Hogar para sus Niños" in Carcelén, Quito. This place, dedicated to the care of children in vulnerable situations, became an epicenter of change and hope.

Building a Greenhouse: A Refuge for Learning and Growth

On this day, not only flowers were planted, but also a greenhouse was erected. This space is not just a physical structure, but a living learning environment where children can interact with nature, observing the growth of plants and flowers up close. The greenhouse represents a place of discovery and exploration, a refuge where the beauty of nature can be appreciated and cared for on a daily basis.

Although for legal and security reasons it was not possible to share photos with the children, the event was filled with moments of joy and connection. Mondelez volunteers had the opportunity to share a healthy snack with them, creating happy memories in a caring and nurturing environment.

Transforming Spaces for Play and Imagination

Part of the Mondelez and Foundation effort focused on cleaning up a large area of the home that was littered with branches and debris. This space was transformed into a recreation area for the children. Now, the children of the "Home for your Children" can play and enjoy themselves in a safe and welcoming environment, surrounded by nature that also teaches and nurtures them.
